Here are my votes for player of the week for the second week of the MLS season. It was a case of a second-half substitute entering the game and changing the entire script.

PLAYER NAME: Terry Cooke, Colorado Rapids

SECOND: Fredy Montero, Seattle Sounders

COMMENTS: Cooke entered the game and scored on his first touch. He also initiated the breakout on the winning goal. Aside from that, he was threatening the entire time he was on the field. An impressive performance as a second-half sub.
