My votes for player of the month

After being brazenly accused of being a homer by “Mike,” my votes for player of the month for March migrated northwest.

I went with Fredy Montero, who has three of Seattle’s five goals, and Kasey Keller, who has not allowed a goal in two victories for the first-place Sounders.

Here’s what I submitted to the North American Soccer Reporters:

PLAYER NAME: Fredy Montero, Seattle

SECOND: Kasey Keller, Seattle

COMMENTS: nobody’s first two weeks were bigger than montero’s. three HUGE goals and an assist. bravo!

You’re northwest coast bias is starting to wear on me. Ha!
Seriously, those are my two picks too — well done.

Montero for sure. I may be a homer but how about Omar Cummings for number two? Two goals in two games. The boy is looking sharp.
