The exhibition match between the men’s s0ccer teams from the University of Denver and Regis University has been postponed until 6 p.m. Sunday at Englewood High School.

The match had been scheduled for Friday evening, but the weather didn’t cooperate.

“While I am disappointed to have to wait on mother nature for two more days to get this event in, we are anticipating a great day for college soccer in Colorado on Sunday,” DU head coach Bobby Muuss said in a press release. “With youth state cup and other soccer events being held here in Denver  (on Sunday), hopefully it will give others an opportunity to be part of it as well.”

More than 1,200 tickets have been sold, and all previously purchased tickets will be valid  Sunday. Tickets will be available at the gates on game night for $8. There will be no ticket refunds.

A silent auction will begin when the gates open at 5:10 p.m. and will end at halftime.
