Universal Sports joins TV schedule
The Colorado Rapids have announced the final piece of the club’s 2009 local television broadcast schedule.
In addition to the previously announced 24 local broadcasts by Altitude Sports & Entertainment, the Rapids have secured an additional four local broadcasts with Universal Sports.
With this addition, every Rapids game will be telecast locally for the rest of this season.
Universal Sports will air four of Colorado’s matches, starting with Sunday’s road game against the Houston Dynamo at 1 p.m.
The Rapids say that in the Denver area, Universal Sports is available on Comcast Channel 250 and on “NBC Affiliate KUSA-TV over-the-air on channel 9.3.”
Now I might just be stupid (and please tell me if I am), but I don’t know how to get to Channel 9.3. Maybe it’s got something to do with the rabbit ears not working on the back of my crystal set any more.
