BBC Radio Stoke is reporting that French defender Julien Baudet, captain of Crewe Alexandra in England’s League One, has signed a contract to play for the Colorado Rapids.

BBC (and Baudet confirms in an interview) that the Rapids have signed him to a two-year deal with an option for two more years.

The move reportedly would take place this summer, after Baudet’s contract with Crewe runs out.
