Exhibition pays off for DU, Regis

The exhibition match under the lights on Sunday night for the men’s soccer programs at the University of Denver and Regis University raised about $2,000 for each school.
The silent auction that night (featuring Major League Soccer jerseys from the Colorado Rapids, the champion
Columbus Crew, the New England Revolution, D.C. United, DU and more) raised more than $1,000.
The top price at the auction was paid for a long-sleeve Seattle Sounders jersey autographed
by players from the expansion team. It sold for more than $125, according to the folks at DU.
The Pioneers won the match
6-0 at Englewood High School.
