Colorado needs some silver in the trophy case. The Open Cup is there for the taking, if you are willing to put quality on the field. With the lack of depth brought on by shortened rosters, it would look like the Rapids could run to this title. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking, but I would love to see the Rapids go after this one. It will be interesting to see how seriously Smith takes this match.
