There’s a solid grouping competing to be Major League Soccer’s goal-scoring leader. Here’s how it stands right now:

Brian McBride, Chicago, 9 games, 6 goals
Josh Wolff, Kansas City, 9 games, 6 goals
Conor Casey , Colorado, 8 games, 5 goals
Landon Donovan, Los Angeles, 9 games, 5 goals
Robbie Findley, Salt Lake, 9 games, 5 goals
Guillermo Barros Schelotto, Columbus, 9 games 5 goals
Luciano Emilio, D.C., 10 games, 5 goals
Kenny Cooper, Dallas, 9 games, 4 goals
Amado Guevara, Toronto, 9 games, 3 goals
Claudio Lopez, Kansas City, 10, 3 goals

nice that all the top five are Americans. Not nice that the top two are no longer national teamers, No. 3 is borderline at best. I’d love to see some more young, American talent topping that list.
