Today we’ll take a look at the leading goal scorers for our two W-League teams in the state, the Real Colorado Cougars and the Colorado Force.

The Force has just reached the halfway point in its W-League season. Lisa Franke scored twice on Sunday to give the team its first victory, a 2-0 decision over Los Angeles. The win extended the team’s unbeaten streak to five games.

COLORADO FORCE

Emmalie Pfankuch 2 goals
Nikki Marshall 1 goal
Molly Thomas 1 goal
Jessica Boots 1 goal

The Cougars are just past the halfway point and are in the third place in the W-League’s Western Conference. They face the Legends, whom they defeated 1-0 in Los Angeles in May, at 6:30 tonight at Shea Stadium in Highlands Ranch.

Each team has one regular-season home match remaining: The Cougars and Force will host Vancouver in July.

The Force will face the NY/NJ Sky Blue at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Afterward, at 7:30, the Colorado Rapids will host FC Dallas. Young will join the Force for Wednesday’s friendly against Sky Blue FC.
