What baffles me is the timing of this. Were Warner & company too busy with their new creative corruption initiative to realize the US was in the Confed Cup and in the Gold Cup? Seems a bit late for them to come up with that rule.

I just didn’t think he looked good in the limited time he had. he was in to fill a role and I wasn’t impressed. hopefully he’ll make the most of the next opportunity he gets, though. can never have enough depth.

i think that might be bradley’s point: he didn’t give casey much of an opportunity in south africa. so if he can work him into a gold up game or two, it might be a reward for conor’s patience.

he won’t be there for all the games … and honestly, he didn’t do anything in the confed cup to earn a return trip. the rapids can keep him.
