Christian Gomez, who didn’t fit into the Colorado Rapids’ plans last season, had a hand in all three D.C. United goals as the Rapids lost 3-1 Saturday at RFK Stadium. Jaime Moreno, Bryan Namoff and Luciano Emilio scored for D.C., and the Rapids’ goal came from a Namoff own goal.

The Vancouver Whitecaps will meet the Colorado Force at 7 tonight in Loveland and the Real Colorado Cougars at 1 p.m. Sunday in Highlands Ranch. Friday’s match is the Force’s regular-season finale, as is the Sunday game for Vancouver and Real Colorado.
