The Fire scored three goals in the final 20 minutes to defeat the Colorado Rapids 3-2 on Sunday in Chicago. The comeback spoiled a two-goal effort by Colorado striker Omar Cummings.

The University of Nebraska women’s soccer team scored in the final seconds of the first half and the opening seconds of the second half en route to a 3-0 victory against Northern Colorado on Saturday night in Greeley. Sophomore Molly Thomas, left, had two second-half goals, and freshman Morgan Marlborough also scored for the Huskers.

Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference coaches have predicted that Fort Lewis College will win the conference’s men’s soccer title, and five Skyhawks players have been chosen for the all RMAC team.
