The New Mexico State women’s soccer team scored two goals in the final seven minutes to escape with a 2-1 victory over Colorado State University-Pueblo on Friday in Pueblo.

Freshman forward Brittany Henry and junior Laura Leber scored as the Minnesota State women’s soccer team knocked off Metropolitan State College 2-1 on Friday in Denver.

Tyler Lassiter scored twice and Chrystel Bakong and Ronnie Bouemboue added goals as North Carolina State shut out the University of Denver on Friday at the Duke/Nike Classic in Durham, N.C.

Josi Heer’s scored in the 58th minute and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs’ made the goal stand up as the Mountain Lions beat St. Cloud State 1-0 Friday evening in Colorado Springs.

Major League Soccer has fined Colorado Rapids captain Pablo Mastroeni $1,250 and suspended him two games for endangering the safety of Houston Dynamo defender Andrew Hainault on Sunday at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
