Jen Thomas scored twice and Becca Mays added a third as the Metropolitan State College women’s soccer team stretched its winning streak to 12 games with a 3-0 victory over Colorado Christian on Wednesday in Lakewood.

Jamie MacArthur and Laurel Reinhardt had the goals and Hayley Hollenga had both assists as the Fort Lewis College women’s soccer team shut out Mesa State College 2-0 on Wednesday in Grand Junction.

Coury Pitt’s goal gave the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs a huge lead in its rivalry with Colorado State-Pueblo. Wednesday’s 1-0 UCCS victory marks the only time the schools meet this season in women’s soccer, so the Mountain Lions collected all points in the annual Steel & Silver Series.

Freshman Erin Kettmann scored in the first half as the Regis University women’s soccer team, ranked fifth in the Central Region, topped the Colorado School of Mines 1-0 on Wednesday in Golden. The Orediggers are ranked third in the region.

The Adams State College women’s soccer team got from Jessica Hellweg, Ashley Grover and Kaylee Smith en route to a 3-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over the New Mexico Highlands on Wednesday in Alamosa.

Sophomore midfielder Riley Gallagher scored his first goal of the season and junior goalkeeper Adam Liszewski increased his shutout string to 276-plus minutes as the Colorado-Colorado Springs men’s soccer team claimed a 1-0 victory over visiting Adams State College on Tuesday night at Mountain Lion Stadium.
