Reichard, Miller, Thomas fuel Rangers’ attack

Chelsea Reichard, Jordan Miller and Heather Thomas scored as the Regis University women’s soccer team defeated Colorado Christian 3-1 on Saturday in Denver.

Five minutes, 18 seconds into the second half, Reichard scored to put Regis up by one. Katie Horn assisted her on the play. 19 seconds later, Colorado Christian’s Mallorie Kenczewicz tied the game on an assist from Jessica Smith.

The game remained tied at 1-1 until just less than two minutes remained. Miller scored her 14th goal of the game to put the Rangers up by one, then Thomas scored the final goal with just a few seconds left. She was assisted by Erin Kettmann on the play.

Regis outshot Colorado Christian 25-6.
