AFA men’s team promotes Latronica

Anthony Latronica has been promoted to associate head coach for the Air Force men’s soccer team. Latronica, who has been with the program for three years as an assistant coach, will continue his recruiting and on-field coaching duties.

Latronica went to the Academy prior to the 2007 season after spending one season as an assistant at Harvard. He also spent four years (1999-02) as an assistant coach with the Crimson and three years as an assistant at Oregon State (2003-05).

Latronica, 33, holds a USSF A license, is in his second year as a National Staff Instructor for U.S. Soccer and has spent four years on the Region IV ODP staff. He is a former Columbine High School All-American.
