DU moves up start time

The University of Denver women’s soccer team will take to the field a half-hour earlier on Sunday, DU announced.

The Pioneers game against the University of Buffalo on will now start at 11:30 a.m. at CIBER Field. The previous start time was 12 p.m.

The Pioneers open their regular season this weekend, traveling to Loyola Marymount on Friday before the home opener against Buffalo on Sunday.

Denver is 1-0-1 all-time against Loyola Marymount, winning the last matchup in 1999. This marks DU’s first meeting with Buffalo, which is coached by former Pioneer assistant coach Michael Thomas.
