The Colorado Rapids announced that the final games of the season would be moved from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. starts.

The team was scheduled to play D.C. United at 3 p.m. on Oct. 2 and Real Salt Lake at 3 p.m. on Oct. 23.

Judging from the attendance at afternoon games this season, the move makes sense. However, it won’t be nearly as warm in October as it was in July. This might have been the wrong move at the wrong time.
