MLS Commissioner Don Garber Tuesday announced the 2010 Best XI during his annual State of the League teleconference call.
The Best XI recognizes the league’s top 11 players at each position on the field – one goalkeeper, three defenders, five midfielders and two forwards – as voted on by media, players, coaches and general managers. Of the 11 players honored, seven were also named to the 2010 AT&T MLS All-Star First XI and eight were named finalists for the League’s 2010 year-end awards.
