The Colorado Rapids, who normally own the Fourth of July, lost 2-1 to Chicago on Saturday, leaving 19,680 fans without a victory and without fireworks. The Rapids outshot Dallas 19-8 and had eight corner kicks to Dallas’ two. Cummings has scored four times in the past three matches and has a career-high six goals.
