Salt Lake midfielder Will Johnson and Chicago defender Bakary Soumare have been added to the MLS All-Star roster as replacements for Houston forward Brian Ching and New England midfielder Shalrie Joseph.

Omar Cummings is the first Colorado Rapids player to win the Major League Soccer goal-of-the-week award this season.

Omar Cummings scored in the 88th minute to rescue the Rapids in a 1-1 tie Saturday night in Sandy, Utah, in a match in which Colorado was severely outplayed in the first half.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. The goals were LaBrocca’s first of the season and the first of Kimura’s Major League Soccer career. “Playing against 10 men, I thought we kept the ball extremely well,” Rapids coach Gary Smith said. “We win 2-nil; we’re more than happy with that.”
