St. Olaf College claimed a 2-1 victory over visiting Colorado College on Saturday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.

Blake Dressen sealed the win for the Olies, who improved to 3-0-0.

Colorado College forward Daniel Wright struck for an unassisted tally in the eighth minute to give the Tigers an early lead, but that turned out to be the only ball that would get past the Olies’ junior goalkeeper Harry Ullmann, who finished with three saves.

Olies defender Jake Stark tied the game in the 34th minute.

‘Keeper Forrest Marowitz stopped three shots for Colorado College, which slipped to 1-1-2.

CC launched a season-low seven shots, only four of which were on net. St. Olaf took a total of 10 shots, including five on goal. Each team had a pair of corner kicks.

The Tigers are back in action again on Sunday when they complete their two-game visit to Minnesota with a game at Carleton College.
