The University of Colorado soccer team’s season come to an end after a 1-0 double-overtime loss to Texas in the first round of the Big 12 tournament on Wednesday in San Antonio.

The University of Colorado soccer team will be the No. 3 seed in the Big 12 soccer tournament, which starts at 1 p.m. (Mountain time) Wednesday against sixth-seeded Texas at the Blossom Soccer Complex in San Antonio. Nikki Marshall scored four goals and had five total points as the University of Colorado soccer team improved to 4-0 in the Big 12 after beating Oklahoma 5-1 on Friday.

The University of Denver’s Kaitlin Bast was named the Sun Belt Conference’s player of the week and was picked for Soccer America’s team of the week. The freshman from Centennial was one of a group of Colorado soccer players who earned recognition for their play.
