Colorado faces San Jose with dire need of a win before taking off for two weeks on the road.

The once-promising Rapids are slipping toward the All Star Game. With only four points from the past five games, the team is in trouble and the mid-term grade is due.

On a wet and sloppy night, the Colorado Rapids failed to hold a lead against the New York Red Bulls and had to settle for a share of the points at home.

The club made official Thursday afternoon rumors that Toronto FC would ship defender Marvell Wynne to Colorado in exchange for Nick LaBrocca and a 2011 third round draft pick.
