The Colorado Rapids announced Thursday that forward Conor Casey signed a new three-year contract, keeping the Denver-raised All-Star and United States national team forward in Colorado.

Major League Soccer released the finalists for the league’s 2009 awards today, and Galaxy striker Landon Donovan certainly was among them.
