mitchell header Colorado School of Mines goal scorer Kayla Mitchell, in blue at left, and Fort Lewis College goalkeeper Zane Wells have been named the men’s and women’s academic soccer players of the year by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Wells is a senior majoring in Spanish and economics, and he carries a 3.68 grade-point average. Mitchell, a senior majoring in civil engineering, has a 3.62 GAA.
