Quintet buries ‘Backs

Five players notched a goal for Colorado College on Sunday as the Tigers drubbed the Arkansas Razorbacks 5-0.

Arkansas, which beat Air Force 2-1 on Friday, put up no such fight against CC.

Brittney Lyman and Madison Whitehead scored in the first half for the Tigers. Kaeli Vandersluis, Lauren DiGregorio and Jesse Ayers added second half tallies.

DeGrigorio also added two assists in the game.

Hanna Berglund got the shutout and garnered six saves for the Tigers. Emily Lillard went 90 minutes for the Razorbacks, picked up nine saves, and was still tagged for five goals.

Colorado College improved to 2-4-2 with the win. Arkansas dropped to 2-5-0.
